This second Dragon Ball movie is an alternate take on Krillin and Goku's quest to find a pretty girl to attract Roshi in order to receive training from the perverted martial arts master from the start of the 21st Budokai arc. Here, this journey leads the two young heroes into a house of demons trying to prepare a ritual that will destroy the sun. Unlike the last movie, the pacing for Sleeping Princess is smoother and doesn't feel like it is condensing too much at once in 45 minutes as the trademark comedy of the series shines more naturally here with Bulma reluctantly falling into a vampire's trap and the show's mix of action and comedy being incorporated with Yamcha, Goku and Krillin trying to save her. The animation here isn't as fluid as the first movie, but retains the smooth detail and brighter color incorporated into the film. It's a decent time killer if you're a Dragon Ball fan.
