The hero Toto can take down a dragon with a single punch, but one thing he definitely can't do is interact with other people productively. He's 'The shyest guy you'll ever meet', which has made him 'least popular hero ever'. He can't even recruit a few fellow adventurers to go on quests with him. Until, that is, out of the blue three young women eagerly volunteer to join him. But it turns out that they have ulterior motives: for one reason or another, all three want to kill him.

(One episode watched):

This seems nonsensical. It is looking like a weak joke that we will be expected to keep laughing at indefinitely. If this guy is so lame, why do three different factions want to kill him? There are plenty of opportunities to finish him off, like when he has to deal with hot girls (he has 'no experience with ladies') and his brain seems to overheat and he effectively goes unconscious. But they don't, because of course that would bring the story to a swift end. Ciel Zebul (pale purple hair) has the best motivation of the three: she is actually the daughter of the Demon King (who Toto has vowed he will kill someday) and has been assigned to kill Toto as a test of her skills; if she succeeds she will be allowed to leave home and live as she pleases. I guess that makes some sense. 'Anemone the Assassin' has been offered a bountiful payment if she kills Toto, though the motives of her employers are not revealed. I didn't catch why the third girl, Lady Goa, wants him dead; it may be that she doesn't, rather she wants to reduce him to a sadomasochistic slave, like countless men before. It all feels very weak, not very well thought out, maybe something that was hastily thrown together. The 'grenade machinegun' that one of the girls uses seemed inappropriate for sword & sorcery; maybe it was intended as a joke. Humor, for the millionth time, occurs when we are led to expect one thing but get something else which nevertheless makes sense in a way we weren't expecting. I suppose it would be possible to compose a fun and engaging story with this premise, but a lot more work would need to be put into it than I am seeing here.
