This is a good series to watch for any guy that is into anime, however it is not a must see. The series is pretty much just about the daily life of a boy in high school that has an allergy to women caused by his fear of women, and the life of the women that become close to him, though things get a little more interesting at the end.

Even though this anime does not have much in it other than ecchiness, it has enough of a story, and has enough of a comedy value in it to be worth watching if you happen to have run out of anime to watch.

I would say this anime deserves a low rent rating, though higher than the first season. The reason I give it a higher rating than the first series is because something is actually happening, even though it only really starts happening at the end of the anime.

Watch 7 7 7 6 7 7 Dreamer [series:919#2279]
I watched this along side the 1st season since I got this series on a single DVD set. I won't repeat what i posted for the first season but to add to this entry, the 2nd half of Girls Bravo is muuuuch more explicit. Meaning, we've got nudity! Wahoo! Now in my opinion, pointless, overdone & blatant nudity can be a turn off but when done moderately and for a reason associated to the current situation of the story or scene, i think it's great.. and good eye-candy. Girls Bravo is one such anime that does it sparingly and tastefully, although some may beg to differ.

Overall, i give it the same ratings as the 1st season and still a good watch with plenty of humor.

(All episodes watched):

I liked this second season a good deal more than I did the first, if my memory hasn't failed me. Less pointless violence and more ecchi--go for it! There's still a fair amount of slapstick, but for the most part the people getting slapped deserve it. Fukuyama isn't a total jerk anymore (though he tries his best), and Tomoko is a fun character too. I liked the final episode; the fast moving, well thought-out and well animated fight scene was surprising and impressive. And Yukinari isn't a total wimp after all! The villain's motivation didn't make a lot of sense, but it was fun nevertheless. It seems to end abruptly, but after the credits there's a good deal of postscript which ties up a number of loose threads (and leaves a few fresh ones hanging).

Watch 8 7 6 6 7 7 Devil Doll [series:919#752]
[Score: 66% = Watch]
With the first two episodes being nothing but ecchi and sometimes even crossing the line, I had little hope for the rest of this series. But the First Date episode changed my mind, and the Tomoko&Kirie episode as well as the Rabbit episode were really funny. I'm a fan of the "silent loser" type of girl in which category Kirie excels... and of course Lilica-san is impressive in what little air time she gets. After all, there are these rare occasions when we get real character interaction instead of embarrassing situations, and they kept me watching this series. Plus there's about one or two hilariously funny lines in each episode.
During the last three episodes they manage tell a story at long last, almost putting this series on par with Hanaukyo Maid Tai or DearS. But as both of these series contain more substance and less ecchiness while still getting no more than a "Watch" from me, this show has to be rated slightly lower. Yet - it's cute and funny somehow. If only it weren't that stereotypical and repetitive...

OK, so Girls Bravo Second Season is not the most serious of animes out there, it is still one of the funniest Harem animes I've seen. You can defiantly tell that it has gone from Fuji Television to the satellite service WOWOW as soon as the opening credits start to roll. Gone is the fog that covered all of the bathroom scenes from the first season, everything is going straight for the ecchi and what ever else they can get buy with. NGE and Akira this is not, but that's OK. I like mindless fun sometimes, and if its done with some fan service, that's OK. I never thought that anything would out do Green Green in that department; GBSS has done it in spades. I would have liked to seen the characters fleshed out a little more (No pun intended) in this season, but it does not seem that will happen. I will just remember it as another fun piece of eye-candy that I had a good time watching.

More of the goodness that is Girls Bravo,
Except Bring on the Ecchi! Before watching this I watched the DVD version of GB S1 and this didn't surprise me at all but if you went from Fuji fog to the new OP where everyone shows off their boobs you are going to be in for a shock.

For now it's watch, lets see if it can redeem itself and become a rent.
Edit : Honestly it's not much in the way of plot. 8 Episodes so far and all I have seen is EVERYONE naked. Well that's not a bad thing but so far except for Episode 1 and 2 there isn't a plot in sight. But this is due to change in Eps 9 when they bring back Maharu. But it's a riot to watch.
BTW S1 and S2 are not the same, S1 was censored to heck and S2 is full ecchi.
[2005-07-26] Maharu returns in Episode 9 as well as the plot (Seems the teacher is up to someting). It's currently a low rent for me.

Note : I removed Soul Mates. Lisa isn't his soul mate. And Miharu might be but it's not the primary issue of this Anime.
