Synopsis
Miharu is relaxing in the bathtub, reading a book full of romantic advice in preperation for her first official "date" with Yukinari. She meets him in the Ikebukuro district, a famous shopping spot which Miharu calls the "Gold Mine of Dreams". They are being shadowed by Fukuyama and Kirie, who has insisted they will only observe what happens and will not interfere themselves (and she's taken some precautions to make certain Fukuyama keeps his promise). Yukinari is repeatedly embarassed to be seen in the stores which Miharu insists they visit ("He's already like that at such a young age?"). He suggests they go to a movie, but balks at the title Miharu has in mind. She gradually realises she has misunderstood something from that strange book she read, and a more normal date ensues. Kirie, meanwhile, becomes frustrated with Fukuyama and leaves him behind. He decides he cannot sit idle anymore, since Miharu is enjoying Yukinari's company so much, and must interfere...

This episode tried to go from risque to sweet, but the transition wasn't all that convincing and didn't make a whole lot of sense. Fukuyama making a 180 degree turn in attitude kind of came out of the blue. I would describe the overall quality as extremely average. Of course, I've only watched it once...
