08th MS Team is quite a good OVA. The only thing 08th MS team caused problems is with Sander's GM. According to the original series GMs weren't made until late in the war. Messing up continuity was 08th's only problem. As for the story we finally get to see the Gundam universe from a grunt soldier's perspective. Though Shiro isn't really a grunt hes not ace. Those who like action can rejoice since 08th MS Team offers some excellent action packed episodes while making a good story. Both Aina and Shiro are well developed in the OVA and will both encounter problems. As seen in many Gundam series their is no true good guy side or bad guy since you see the dark side of both Zeon and the Earth federation. Even though it messes with the original's continuity it is an excellent OVA nonetheless.

I saw this at first and fell in love with it. I really likes Kiki's characteristic. The down side when I saw this is whan it ended(only 12 eps) If you liked Gundam Wing (which I didn't)Well you would probably like this.

I got started on anime with Gundam Wing, so I am kinda partial to it... But don't think that this Gundam is anything like the other one... It is very different, and I am really enjoying this anime! It's a little slow with the plot, but it is unfolding and with a bang! I would definitely buy this anime!
