This unique animated short focuses on the gossiping of several parties of customers in attendance at a cafe. Topics such as relationships, the laws of robotics and other philosophical elements are brought up which lead to a very shocking twist at the end of the short. Aquatic Language is very well-animated with CG animation used in the rendering of the cafe and some impressive looking perspective shots as the short tends to change perspectives quite often in exploring the gossip of the customers in attendance. This is definitely worth a look if you are an enthusiast for any form of animation

My favorite line: "And that guy says that there's too much unnecessary light in the world right now, so the words ended up invisible" Last updated Sunday, August 03 2008. Created Sunday, August 03 2008. |
I don't know exactly what to make of this one, but it was fun. Three parties in a coffee shop are chatting about odd topics; it's a philosophical/psychological sort of show. It has a red tint to it and CG is employed to move the viewer from table to table. What starts out very slice-of-life has a strange twist at the end. You must see it for yourself; if you don't get your hopes up too high, you should enjoy it. It's hard to imagine "Renting" something nine minutes long, but "Watch" doesn't do it justice. When I first saw this bittorrent described as "Aquatic Language" I feared that the subtitles might not be in English!||||||||
