As Yui has managed to enter Oumi Academy she's about to return to her parents and bring her stuff to permanently move in at Manaka's place. But a few days later Yui's father calls at Manaka's family, telling them that Yui has run away, and that he'll never allow her to live together with Manaka. So the boy decides to travel to Yui's parents and clear up the apparent misunderstanding.

According to Digital Panic, this is both extra Episodes Combined together, and could be called Episode 13, and as such the direct sequel to the Ichigo 100% OVA 1 story within the manga order of events.]

FYI: It is called Special 2 because Special 1 is the OVA 1 or Jump Fiesta
[OVA, 2005, 1 episode, 29 min]

This is supposed to be like a hidden episode during the series. Somewhere just before she moves in with the main lead after she couldn’t live in the dormitories.

Yui goes back home and her father, after seeing her sleeping habits, forbids her to see the main lead ever again and she can’t attend her high school either. She sends a letter to the main lead asking to pick her up and he comes to find out the situation. He tries to take her back but she really doesn’t want to see her father and forces them to sleep at a hotel. With a plan nicely thought out plan if I do say so myself, the father tricks them to come home and he slaps some “fatherly worry” into the main lead. Seeing an opportunity, he pleads with the father to let her go to the high school – even if it means him moving out of his own house! After seeing the main lead’s resolve to help Yui with what’s best for her, the father decides to let her stay with him. Though she decides to live on her own anyway (ungrateful runt). This episode is the last we will ever see of Yui and the main lead ever having a chance to be a couple. I’m sure no one is rooting for her anyway, but at least the main lead will always be by her side. She had no chance due to poor story development and only two episodes, this one included, being devoted to her alone. Poor kid…

Never forget Xenosaga.

Wow for the almost the entire series of Ichigo Devil Doll and Myself have matching reviews (With the notable exception of OVA 3. That in itself is extremely rare. This must mean Ichigo will appeal to all kinds. It's not just a niche show.

Ripped from the Manga almost exactly, this is a perfect reason of why I love Ichigo the show and Manga so much. You should watch this right after the series (And before OVA 3 Which takes place after it). It's good!

About the best serious episode one can expect from this series, providing manga chapters 71-73 with very little modifications.
Finally we learn a lot more about Yui (whose role is completely underdeveloped in the anime), and Manaka is acting quite maturely in this substory. Very little fan-service (well, a nude Yui now and then...), and a surprising story development with interesting turnarounds until the very end of the episode. Most importantly, everything makes sense and none of the characters are acting as blithering idiots. I like this episode very much.
