The only hentai anime I got ever recommended for its drama story, and except for very explicit sexual scenes of very young characters (that's why I didn't review it back then) it actually delivers that drama, thus I hesitate giving it an "Avoid" rating for its hentai components alone. The story is certainly better than in Dragon Knight 4 which shows a similar approach of (unnecessarily) spicing up an otherwise decent story with explicit sex scenes, and thus severely limiting its target group. I added this comment now (years after I watched this OVA) because the quite similar Yosuga no Sora made it into free TV. Last updated Tuesday, November 30 2010. As I was watching the first episode (as a WF fansub), I became completely entranced by the story. An young college art student is very passionate in his desire to improve his artistic abilities, and has accepted an apprenticeship to a dark, moody and very intense sensi. His close relationship with his sensi's daughter is quietly charming and calmly reassuring. Souji’s first kiss with Sayaka on a wind blown grassy meadow is a scene of pure romance, hinting promising relationship between the two. And then troubling shadows begin to appear, quickly encroaching on their apparent happiness and then suddenly, they are plunged in darkness as the truth of the Shirakawa family is reveled. Then I found out that this was a henti series... The copy that I was watching had the 'racy scenes' edited out, and the remaining footage actually works well as a horror story.
