It's about Shiratori/Ootori Nagisa, a martial artist/idol singer. Just for laughs she decides she wants to go to a public junior high school. In order to remain incognito she hacks off her pink hair, dresses in a boy's uniform and assumes a false last name. She joins a gang at school and falls in love with a high school boy (Nosaka Akira) who is a martial artist himself. Nagisa is a very cheerful character, and very handy in a fight. There's a legend that someday a true hero, using a mystical weapon, or 'Regalia', will defeat the Four Lords of Dark Beasts who keep the lands outside of the continent of Edthea a hostile mystery. After being told of this story as a child, Alicia Glenfall vowed to become a hero herself. Sure enough, as an adult she's the only female hero among a party of 13 that goes looking for Clevatess, one of the four Lords. But they do not win. Clevatess senses that their Regalia might pose a threat to him and goes looking for the source of the weapons, the King of Hidenea. After rampaging through the capital city of Hiderat he is persuaded to spare an infant, which he takes back to his lair. As a caretaker for the child (which he names 'Luna'), he resurrects the dead Alicia. To learn more about the five races of 'humanoids' Clevatess transforms into a humanoid form and sets out with Alicia and Luna on a quest. |
