Chiisana Koi no Monogatari: Chichi to Sally Hatsukoi no Shiki
A rather obscure but decent old romantic drama, this TV special involves the complications involving Chiko's high school life between her inferiority complex about her small size and trying to earn the affections of her crush, Sally. Story developments here are fairly low-key for the most part with relating to Chiko's personal issues and things don't get too overboard with its drama as you would find with a good number of titles up to the mid-1980s, giving it a sense of believability for exploring our female lead's mindset as she struggles with her feelings and her crush's lack of serious romantic interest in her. The art style is quite dated given the simple designs of the scenery and characters. But outside of that, I don't regret seeing this and would recommend it to anyone wanting to dabble into an older romance anime from the 80s.
