You can think of this as an extended episode of Violet Evergarden. Set during the middle of the series, Violet takes on a difficult case for an opera singer wanting to use a love letter prepared by Violet as lyrics for an aria for an upcoming performance. Like earlier episodes exploring Violet's time as an Auto Memory Doll, Violet is challenged into trying to properly figure out what is expected out of her client and the episode does eventually reveal the reason why she wants the letter as structured as she wanted it. I won't spoil the reasons surrounding the opera singer's demands for the letter, but it does add some convincing emotional drama for later in the episode and the resulting aria is probably the highlight of the episode with how beautifully sung it was. Overall if you enjoyed Violet Evergarden as a whole, this bonus OVA is definitely worth checking out.
