Kick-Heart
This animated short tells a simple story of a pro wrestler who has a romantic interest in a nun working in an orphanage and tries winning a match to raise money for the orphanage's not-so-decent conditions. The story is rather simple, relying mostly on its animated content to tell Romeo's story and revealing a surprising twist with the nun in the short's finale. The animation takes on a surreal style in the designs of its characters and settings which make it stick out very prominently from conventional anime designs and it sports fluid movement which is excellently depicted in Romeo's wrestling matches. Those looking for a quick and simple anime to get into or who are looking for animation that is much different from the typical anime style are likely to get enough enjoyment out of this short.
