New employee Yan Yuechu was taking a break with another recent hire, Hu Zhi, when a sudden rainstorm drove them to seek shelter in a business known as 'X and Y'. Zhi had heard bad rumors about this place--of accidents occuring there, and of the owner employing 'hypnotism or some black art'. But Yuechu is intrigued at this being an 'Escape Room', where players are locked in an enclosed space and must solve puzzles in order to escape. A woman named Yu Aiyou greets them and briefs them on the rules. But then they are informed that due to an unexpected electrical problem they cannot play tonight. Nevertheless, they find that they cannot leave the building. It would seem that their escape game has begun after all. |

At a real-world gathering of FOS players she discovers that Yamada is actually a handsome guy and a widely admired professional gamer who Takuma in particular worships. Wataru Sajo considers himself a pretty ordinary male high school student. If he has any unusual characteristic, it would have to be the way he is percieved as a 'sort-of stalker guy' because he has always pursued Aika Natsukawa, a girl who he worships as a Goddess.
