Jing, the young King of Thieves and his feathered-friend Kir are back for three more episodes. It appears that their luck has run out and they have been sent to the world's most maximum security prison from which no one has ever escaped. But what of the story that a great treasure can be found within the walls of the prison named Seventh Heaven? Can it be true that a current inmate has mastered the skill of stealing other people's dreams and sealing them in such a way that they can be shared with others. How treasured are a person's dreams, and what price would one pay to experience someone else's dreams, or could it all just be a nightmare?

Avoid Forbin [series:885#1573]
Boy after the masterpiece (Well IMHO) that was Jing, all of a sudden we get this tripped out drug fest called Seventh Heaven?
I'm sorry but I kept falling asleep while watching this and cannot possibly believe this is the same Jing from KoBJ.
You do learn a little bit about how he met Kir but then it doesn't even make any sense on how it all works.

Don't take me wrong ... Forbin is a nice guy ... but I could not disagree with him more on his review of this OVA.

But he is correct that this 'chapter' of Jing's adventures might best be considered a magic mushroom experience in an Escher world. Very strange ... completely off the wall ... and an acquired taste.

But something that I really enjoyed....

The original Jing was already strange and surreal, and this OVA just kicks it up a notch (or three). In any event, it is well worth the watch if you can enjoy BIZARRE anime.
