Shiina Mahiru is virtually the perfect student at Seijo high school. She's attractive, graceful, athletic and gets excellent grades. As a result, she's known as 'The Angel'. She also happens to be the next-door neighbor of classmate Amane Fujimiya (both live alone). Perhaps as gratitude for his support when something was troubling her, and perhaps out of sheer disgust at his sloppy way of life, Shiina insists upon cooking and cleaning for Amane. Thus the ideal girl who he would never dare to approach at school becomes his housekeeper.

I kept waiting for some startling revelation that would add some spice to the relationship between Shiina and Amane, but episode one ended without it coming. The only question is why she was crying in the rain one day (she seems perfectly back to normal now). With nothing any more unusual than a girl who wants to serve her neighbor healthy food and keep his apartment from being a total mess, this felt very slice-of-life and I was frankly kind of bored. I wasn't sure whether I'd watch episode two but ultimately I did. We slowly get to know Shiina and Amane better, and it looks like they each have some personality. I guess I felt neither bored nor excited this time. Surely they will fall in love at some point but as of yet there is little sign of it.
