Whereas Carnival Phantasm worked for me due to being light-hearted parodies of the characters and storylines of the more serious Fate/stay night and Shingetsutan Tsukihime, Grand Carnival doesn't click for me in the same way since I'm not as much of a fan of Grand Order and it has way too many characters to track, a decent number of whom I'm unfamiliar with since I'm not a diehard player of the mobile game it's meant to poke fun of. Some of the skits even appear to be rehashed from those done in Carnival Phantasm, albeit with Grand Order characters added in place of those from Stay Night and Tsukihime. I'd say this anime would be more of interest to those who are fans of the Grand Order mobile game.
