Fragtime
Fragtime's premise involves two high school girls getting into a close relationship with one another with one having an introverted personality with the power to stop time for up to three minutes and the other a popular girl who is immune to the effects of the time stop. While you may think this may be like a few recent one-shot shoujo-ai OVAs that exist to pander to the fanbase, this one has a bit more depth to it as the two girls in question have personal flaws they find themselves having to learn to improve on, with Misuzu's time stop abilities seemingly being tied to her inner anxieties. Plus, Fragtime explores the ways both girls lose their inhibitions while Misuzu's time stop ability is in effect as they mess around with others and their environment as a way to vent their stresses. The 60 minute runtime of the OVA has enough time to explore both Misuzu and Haruka's characters to flesh out their personalities and motives, without feeling rushed or being hard to follow. All isn't perfect as Fragtime does have its occasional clumsy moments in the handling of its storytelling, of particular note the casual way that sexual harassment is brushed aside with Misuzu's skirt flipping of Haruka in the opening scene of the OVA. But beyond that, Fragtime is a decent entry for the shoujo-ai genre in exploring the internal issues faced by the two girls that make up its main pairing for this OVA.
