(One-and-a-half episodes watched):

I actually watched episode two of this show first, but fortunately it begins with a little summary of the situation. I couldn't help getting the feeling that while Hanadori is indeed an extremely annoying person and also annoys the viewer, the humor was not so evident. He has a vague fingernails-on-chalkboard effect, but I didn't seem to get all that many laughs in exchange for enduring it. Trite old gags like "I know who's on the other side of this door so I'll open it and immediately shout what I think in his face' (but it turns out to be someone else) are used. The powers Hanadori claims to possess seem to be completely a figment of his imagination and he has no supernatural abilities. Indeed, he is sometimes humiliated in an almost disturbing manner. I finally started watching episode one, but again got the feeling that it was almost like having to sprinkle itching powder on myself. It was painful to watch, since without much to laugh at all you can do is picture yourself in the same situation, which isn't fun. I quit before the episode ended. This was a show which had an amusing premise, but obviously that alone does not guarantee success.
