I don't know if I will watch this show, but I do know that just thinking about episode one makes me smirk. This show was totally, outrageously, absurd and nonsensical. I almost gave up on it early on, but must admit that this show has a definite charm to it. Five high school dudes are talked into forming a sort of team whose costumes are half power Rangers and half magical girls. Their mission will be to fight for the cause of 'happyocracy' in service of a sort of otter with magical powers, Karls da Yutari Honyala. Apparently this show is based on an OVA which I had never heard of, which is one reason why it seemed so nonsensical. But it's hard to believe that every episode will manage to stretch the boundaries of comic absurdity to the same extent as the first one did.
