This second season to Noragami provides some more fleshing out of Yato as he is entangled in two arcs of supernatural conflicts that he and his allies have to tend to thanks to the manipulations of Nora and his mysterious "father". The arcs provide fleshing out behind the reasons surrounding his current rivalry with Bishamonten and his past as a former god of calamity, as well as provide developments that affect the growth of Yato's character as he comes to terms with the mentioned issues affecting his character and what he aspires to become as a god of fortune. The series is still incomplete as Nora and "Father" are still at large when his connections to the current events within Aragoto were connected to them. Still, this was still a worthwhile continuation of Noragami that helped further develop Yato's character.
