While I was checking to make certain that nobody had already created a page for this series, I stumbled across the original Freezing series, complete with a brief review I had once written about it. It had been completely forgotten. I had abandoned that series after one episode, and it looks like this one will go the same way. Here we have big breasted, short-skirted girls called 'Pandoras' fighting it out with blades against the mysterious (or maybe I just forgot what the secret behind them was) things called Novas. A Pandora's Blade works where cruise missiles don't, for some reason. Despite being a superhuman warrior, each Pandora must 'submit' to a male handler (or whatever they were called), which was rather a giveaway. But I doubt if anybody is paying a whole lot of attention to the plot behind this show, not when there's so much T&A to be seen. The station break made it clear that this was going to be a kinky show. The plot behind this show didn't interest me at all, since it's clearly more about tits than Pandoras or Novas. Main character Satellizer may have a touch of healthy modesty to her, but there's no way this is going to work. When you think about it, if a serious effort was made to turn her into a likeable character who objected to the humiliation that Pandoras gleefully self-inflict, this two-dimensional show might just have expanded into a third one. I was tempted to watch some more in order to see if that angle would pan out. But I thought a second time and realized that something like that would have interfered with the route that the makers of this show are clearly taking to attract viewers, so it's pointless.
