Haruka, Aoi and Kurumi are all students at St. Cherine Academy, and although they appear to be normal students at the Academy, they are actually the Twin Angels, who have taken up the duty of recovering stolen treasures! The Twin Angels make use of a powerful fragment from the Holy Grail to transform into the Twin Angels and fight against the evil organization known as the 'Black Fund'. Twin Angel: Twinkle Paradise (Half of one episode watched): I started watching this but in a matter of minutes became convinced to drop it altogether. It is so unoriginal--did I see anything fresh? Maybe the butler's stunt. But it was all too clear that this show is going nowhere. No risks are being taken, nothing is being done to make it any different from a host of similar shows, instead a thoroughly generic Mahou Shojo series is being served to us on the assumption that we'll be just as happy with this one as with the countless ones that have gone before. Everything about it feels tired and overdone. And yet it got the well known VAs to play its parts--go figure. I quit this boring show halfway through. Last updated Friday, July 15 2011.
