This season of World God Only Knows maintains the story formula of the prior season in its focus on Keima making use of his dating sim knowledge to woo girls in order to catch spirits possessing them with the clutzy demon girl, Elsie. My reception to this is more or less the same as the prior one where some of the story arcs have their moments of engaging character focus and some comical moments, though Keima is occasionally a turnoff with his single-minded focus on playing dating sims. Other than the addition of a new demon girl named Haqua, the plot formula for this season mostly stays the same, which may or may not be good depending on how well you warmed to this anime's premise.

The OP of this anime i loved it (The whole world god only knows sung by Elisa) , similar to the first season OP .The ED wasn't bad also .

This anime used to be an anime i wanted to create when i am grown up. but it looks like somebody got to make it first , so never mind.In first episode , this story is about a boy that is totally possessed by his own PFP and ended up only like to make girls in game world fall in love with him named Katsuragi Keima .One day , he accepted the challenging the king of demon and ended hunting loose soul with a cute demon girl called Elsie .But in this second season , a new cute demon girl appears , much more attractive than Elsie .Anyway , this story is focused more in the romance scene as he successfully made four girls fallen in love with in the four season. But in the last ending , Keima gotten worse than before .He played a Dating Simulation games with like coconut looking girl and he totally fell for it .He realized that a good story only can be found in bad games only.I was looking forward the 3rd season

P.S :there is real guy looked like Keima in my school , He got score 90 to Ace in every of his test but he's a game freak otaku ! I meant it !

Yeay! More Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai goodness! As you can tell, I enjoyed the first season, so I picked this one up pretty swiftly. My thoughts?

Art, Animation & Character Designs
Artwork, animation and characters were no improvement over the first season so I won't mention it here. You can read my review here.

Music

The OP was a really cool pop piece with female vocals. It had a slight mix of acapella blended right in and sounded pretty good. The soundtrack had some nice pieces throughout.... most of which were short musical effects that enhanced the scenes at hand. We also had a few hints of orchestra-like pieces.... which are always a welcome.

Series and Episode Story
As mentioned above, I enjoyed the first series as it was original and refreshing. So I was hoping more of the same but honestly didn't expect it since afterall, the first season defined the series. And as expected, nothing really new was here but rather, we continued on our story.

One addition was a new demon girl..... which brought a bit more enjoyment and antics to the series but not by much. But once again, like the first installment, we have a good dose of humor and silly moments.... which really makes up this series.

Overall, it was another good series and really enjoyable. For sure if there's a 3rd season, i'll be sure to give it a watch.

(All episodes watched):

It looks like Keima will be getting a second cute demon girl helper, which might be fun; that was the impression I got from the image above even before watching episode one. But not just yet—first came a quick two-episode arc dealing with a demon-possessed human girl with a sort of pair of dual personalities. It never really grabbed my attention, and I have little idea how the problem was ultimately solved. In general, TWGOK II was looking like more of the same that I remembered from season one: modestly amusing and interesting, but nothing to write home about.

Episode three, with the arrival of the second demon girl, Haqua, might be fun however, so I intend to continue watching. I was pleasantly surprised; I had expected Haqua to be a shallow I-do-everything-right-while-you-do-everything-wrong counterweight to the bumbling Elsie, but instead she has some issues of her own and thus some depth to her. In short, a three dimensional personality rather than a 2D one. And the jokes were pretty good, too--the bit about the school baseball team, for example. There were also some hints about a long term plot developing. The only problem was a bit in which Haqua showed disquieting signs of needing a guy to support her, which might spoil everything. But in general I was encouraged about the future of TWGOK II.

Actually, Haqua plays a relatively small part; she isn’t present in every episode like Elsie. It's almost as if she's just another girl for Keima to charm. Come to think of it, towards the end even Elsie doesn't play all that large a part anymore, instead Keima is pretty much handling cases on his own. Still, this season seems funnier than I remember the last one being. I don't know if the plot itself moves me all that much, but the jokes are good. Little touches like the way scenes change with a glimpse of Elsie saying 'So...' in episode ten, or numerous clever visual jokes make me laugh. In general, TWGOK II seems to be a show which has a little class and finesse to it. You get the feel that the makers worked harder than usual to create a product that, while not fantastic, is signifcantly better than the average anime comedy. I appreciate the extra effort.

Episode eight was fun in that it took a break from the usual lost soul hunting motiff and instead had some fun with two mini-episodes. One involved Elsie being sent to buy a dating sim game for Keima, and the second was about Haqua paying the two a visit. It seems to me that each season has allowed one episode or two of this sort, and both times they have turned out to be the best ones of all. It kind of suggests that the never ending battle to romanticise nice girls with problems has gotten a little tiresome.

When the student teacher arc reaches it's climax, its almost as if the notion of there being some sort of rouge demon within her has been forgotten and instead this is a sort of afterschool special about the woman struggling to overcome a common problem. The problem is that when things get serious, most of the humor is shelved--but since the main plot itself isn't all that interesting, the humor was the best part of the show. The final episode is another all-comedy one without any spirit hunting being involved. There were a number of fun parodies of other shows, though it wasn’t clear to me why Keima was entranced by a particular dating sim video game. The way it ends strongly suggests a third season being in the works. I think I would continue watching, if the jokes are as good as they were during this one, i.e, better than average. The main plot could definitely use some tightening up, though.
