Whereas Tokimeki Memorial - Only Love is an anime story based on characters drawn from a dating-sim computer game, this OVA is a dating-sim game put to animation. Expect heavily embellished animation, starry eyed students dreaming of romance and walks in the rain. With no comedy or humor or action, this was obviously created to appeal to those ardent fans of the computer game. If you are not a fan, then it's special appeal might not 'work' on you. It has a "Girls only" feel to it because nothing happens for the whole 80 minutes watching it. All that happened was the spinning of unrequitted feelings swirling about in circles as all the girls think about love and their feelings. Nice but for 80 minutes, at least they could of let the viewer see the lead girl wrapped in her man's arms or something of that nature. Absolutely nothing happens at all. Never forget Xenosaga.
