A perv of a guy with a robot maid. Hmmm, how many times have we seen this plot? Regardless, this was still fun to watch.

Art, Animation & Character Designs
Artwork seemed a bit below par. It could have also been my copy was sorta low quality? Animation seemed a bit below par but still okay. Character designs were kawaii but that's about it.

Music
The OP was really enjoyable! It's totally not my style but the way it was presented... super fast lyrics and a semi-cute voice... I was cracking up actually. So for that, I'm giving it a better rating in this category. As for the rest of the soundtrack... nothing.

Series and Episode Story
Aside from the mass amount of ecchi-ness, there's a fair amount of slapstick humor. There's no plot here but instead the episodes themselves have minor stories.

Overall, this was good for a few laughs and smiles.

An ecchi fest about a doll otaku and a maid robot's new life experiences...

I've seen plenty of ecchi fests in the past, but this one is an exception. I almost said that this title was a complete waste, but that isn't 100% the case with this one. It was a tad cleaner than my initial predictions and the laughs were more genuine than some other titles in this genre. The sexual innuendos were extreme and consistent, but never went overboard, like Eiken did. The fun in this title included: big-breast rangers, a widow with an aggressive tendency towards her only daughter, female private parts catching fire (?!?!), a giant octopus with extra long tentacles for whatever reasons one may predict (LOL), and tons of the usual breast jokes. The extra twist was how the there was a "semi-harem" theme going on. One guy with multiple robotic maid girls and real girls all want him. Also, the end was kind of heart-warming with a sudden romance! These "twists" along with hilarious ecchi content make this one stand higher than most ecchi fests in my book. Watch it for what it's worth and move on to more substantial material.

For a funnier/ecchier experience, stick with Guardian Hearts and Hanaukyo Maids. Those titles are of a much higher tier than this title and I can almost assure a "happier" time. Pick your poison and enjoy.

Unevaluated Stretch [series:1674#628]
(Two OVAs watched):

Here's a series which appeared unexpectedly recently, and, knowing nothing more than the title (and having no idea what it meant) I downloaded the fansub. This OVA was 29 minutes long and consisted of three more-or-less independent subplots. The first one introduces us to Murase as he selects an artificial girl robot, and his choice, Yui. I was grinning and LOLing right from the start. I got a distinct feeling that the way Yui looks, talks, and acts strongly reminded me of a character from some other show I'd been watching recently; it may have been Nagi from Hayate no Gotoku!. I noticed how cleverly worded the dialogue was, and how important that is to keeping the jokes funny (the fansubbers deserve credit here). Murase fortunately isn't too much of a jerk; he has some strange fetishes but you can still like him, which is very important to keeping a series enjoyable. Yui is an innocent artificial girl who only wants to get her job as a maid done, but is willing to stand up for herself, which again is important (maybe it's one reason why she reminded me of Nagi). The second subplot was kind of sleazy as Yui finds herself in a dress-up contest at a small restaraunt; it made me wonder if I'd been too quick to embrace this show. Luckily the third subplot was lots of fun as Yui volunteers to babysit, and I left this first episode once more strongly giving this series the thumbs up. I'm looking forward to more Koharu Biyori.

Episode two had some good laughs but I couldn't help feeling that they were a little far apart for a show that's a full half hour long. Also, as fairly odd twists developed in the subplots I was repeatedly thinking that these would be goldmines of comedy, but then being a little disappointed that they ultimately weren't exploited to their full potential.

P.S: Notice the Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan poster on the wall of Murase's room!

My favorite line (so far): "Such a frilly apron dress is too shameful to wear!" --Yui
