Ring ni Kakero 1 I stumbled across the sequel to this series, Ring ni Kakero 1 - Nichibei Kessen Hen -, and was amused, so I figured it would be a good idea to watch the original first. It strikes me as a campy mix of action, sports and comedy--though sometimes I'm not sure if the makers intended it to be funny.
