Nerima Daikon Brothers incorporates musical numbers into its comedy focused on Hideki, Mako and Ichiro having a radish farm, wanting to be a famous musical band and getting rid of over-the-top evils that plague their city. The formula for it is quite repetitive throughout its run where the group encounter said evil, get ripped off or entangled in it, milk a shop ran by Nabeshin for an item as their deus ex machina and punish said evil while making a failed effort to steal the money from said "evil doer of the week". A good number of the musical numbers involve the characters reflecting on their situation or ogling others for favors, and tend to have the same melody incorporated into the different songs sung by different characters in each episode, which makes the musical element seem a bit flat as things drag on and becomes increasingly noticeable with its comedic style. Many of the baddies in the series are apparently exaggerated parodies of well known pop culture, corporate and political figures in the East. But the only baddie that got me giddy was the Michael Jackson knockoff, as I was lost on whom the others were supposed to represent due to my limited knowledge of Eastern affairs. There are some elements mixed in that try to give the comedic style to the show some freshness, such as Yukika's character introduced in the middle of the show and the final four episodes being an ongoing arc. But the show still sticks with the same plotting setup and these elements don't do much to detract from it. Other than a few gags and the mentioned Michael Jackson ripoff character, Nerima Daikon Brothers was, overall, a very underwhelming comedy title for me thanks to its repetitive comedic style.

OMG From the Creator of Excel Saga. Nabeshin has decided to make a Musical. And for an added bonus ADV makes the Entire cast SING. And bonus 2 is the entire Full Metal Panic cast.

BTW it is REALLY suggestive, lots of sexual innuendo's run around this series.
