This Azumanga Daioh (TV) short was made as a Web episode. There isn't too much going on besides Tomo swiping Chiyo's video camera to use for herself. The character designs and scenery are down a notch for artwork from the TV series since lining for them looked a bit jerky for this ONA. But, animation went very smooth thanks to the use of the video camera. With the use of depth and perception coming from Tomo's tinkering of the camera as she was recording and running around, it really felt like you were watching the cast of the series through a recorded home video. It's not much to see thanks to the short length of the ONA. But, this web episode of Azumanga Daioh is still worth a look if you're a fan of the series. Last updated Friday, January 09 2009. [Score: 65% = "Watch"] Well, it's too short to actually write a review about it. You'll see the lead characters and the two senseis, and all of them are acting very much in character. Which is about everything that counts for Azumanga Daioh, I guess... don't expect more than home movie quality, as Tomo-chan isn't exactly a director.
