Yukito Urabi was a member of a bizarre cult led by his father which worships the Goddess Mitama. In the Ritual of Musubi he was assured that if he steadfastly believed in her he could survive being thrown over a cliff and into the sea in a barrel. Yukito has little faith and wishes instead that he may be reborn in a religion-free world. Sure enough, he finds himself somehow transferred to an isekai world which has no religion but instead has a strange state managed system by which people die. When he finds himself in trouble for objecting to it, he is saved--by the Goddess Mitama. |
