Ginsokiko Ordian
Using a very dark and gloomy animation style, this series just tries to take itself too seriously. And while having some entertaining moments and realistic combat situations, it kind of looses it way towards the end when the plot gets muddled as genetically altered soldiers and alien angels somehow get mixed into the story line.
Then to keep things moving with bigger and more explosive scenes, a gonzo-gigantic-ultra-impressive-towering mondo-mecha Ordian is wheeled out to save the good guys from an equally ultra-whatever-whenever-whereever bad Ordian.
Given the absence of humor in this series, the military term No Joy pops to mind - as this series really misses its mark and ends up in a muddy ditch.
I don't think I was very impressed with this series, and I doubt that I am going waste any time trying to watch it a 2nd time.
