Six years ago, Naoto Watari had a female friend, Tachibana Satsuki, at their home in Shinshu. She helped him run his garden—until she abruptly vandalized it and disappeared. Today 16 year old high schooler Naoto lives in the city and has been forced to care for his 10 year old sister, Suzu, after their parents died. He has done so with such dedication that he's suspected of being a 'siscon' at school. Things were going well enough until a certain girl transfers in.

Watari-kun no xx ga Houkai Sunzen
(One episode watched):
Tachibana turns up and seems to think that Naoto has some sort of duty to fall in love with her (she refuses to explain why she trashed the garden and vanished). This discombobulates Ishihara Yukari, the star but modest student of Naoto's class who clearly has feelings for him as well (he considers her to be out of his league). Suzu Watari expects her older brother to fall in love with her as well. Lucky guy! I just knew that Naoto and Tachibana were about to wind up in a suggestive position as they argued near the end of the episode, and sure enough they did. We get the old trope of Naoto being blamed for all sorts of things that weren't his fault. His aunt jumps to the conclusion that he's a pervert and throws him and Suzu out of her house. It hasn't happened yet, but I bet Tachibana will offer them a roof despite what an awkward situation that will be for Naoto. Basically, this show is easy to read—more powered by fanservice than genuine comedy. I guess my principal problem was that none of the characters were all that interesting, so I couldn't care much what became of them. I don't particularly want to watch a guy have to struggle through countless 'funny' situations that were forced upon him by an annoying girl.
