In a readaptation of the Ranma 1/2 manga, SAOTOME Ranma and his father Genma move into Genma's best friend's residence. Genma and Sōun arranged for Ranma to marry one of Sōun's daughters. Akane is the lucky girl, but she's not keen on the idea, since she hates most boys. However, Ranma and Genma have a secret of their own, whereby they have been cursed thanks to martial arts training in China. As such, Genma turns into a giant panda when splashed with cold water. Likewise, Ranma turns into a girl when splashed with cold water. Though the Tendou family know this, no one else does. Thus Ranma has to navigate having a fiance, dealing with fighters at school, but also dealing with men who want to date his female self.
