Sasaki to Miyano
While Sasaki and Miyano sticks out from shounen-ai titles for deconstructing the uke and seme tropes of gay relationships in Japanese media with its two male leads being conscious of how they behave around one another in their relationship developments, this still has the familiar storytelling beats of a romance anime with the "will they or won't they" developments of our titular couple and will admit the additional angle of both our leads being into "boys love" manga felt largely unnecessary to drive home what it was dabbling into with their relationship. Granted, shounen-ai/ yaoi titles aren't my typical cup of tea given how many of them milk the uke and seme relationship dynamics. But while I'll praise the series for being more believable with its relationship focus, it's still nothing groundbreaking and rather predictable with how developments in the relationship play out hence limiting any rewatchability I'd have for the series.
