The Jyusenki-tai/Cyber Beat Force are on their way to the Zorbados Empire's homeworld so that they can finish the war that they had fought on Earth. Awaiting them are Death Gaia, the last surviving general, and Muge Zorbados, the emperor himself. Before they arrive, though, the group looks back at all of the people who sacrificed their lives so that they could make it to this point.

Before I properly review this, do want to note that a good amount of this OVA (roughly 60% of it) is a recap of the events of the TV anime, so you can breeze through a good amount of this if you don't like recaps. That aside, the new animated footage depicting the Dancouga team's final battle with Death Gaia and Muge Zorbados is more polished and does better with utilizing its scenes to create the illusion of an engaging climactic battle, particularly with how the battle with Death Gaia plays out. It essentially plays out as an extended episode of the TV anime, albeit without the glaring animation issues present throughout a good amount of the series. This is largely worth checking out if you are a Dancouga fan and looking for a proper conclusion to the series.
