Bizarre problems caused by emotional distress are solved by an eccentric 'Doctor' and a lesson is taught to us. Not exactly a lesson we didn't already know, however. Even before I watched episode one, if you had asked me 'should parents love their children instead of exploiting them for their own benefit?' I think it would have been safe to say 'no'. Also, why did this child secrete condiments rather than tears? Sort of funny if you don't think about it too much. It all seemed to be on a children's level and the quality of the animation was not impressive. In short, not enough 'bang' for my buck.
