Ani, a princess from the minor nation of Inaco, has been sent to the signing ceremony in Selenfalen, meant to bring peace to the nations of Milidonia, a mighty military country, and Selenfalen, a powerful theocracy. Upon entering the site of the ceremony, Ani meets the Selenfalen prince Ruze, so beautiful she almost mistakes him for a girl. Ruze has a calm demeanor, but their conversation soon devolves into confusion. A bewildered Ani is then met with the sound of an explosion. The door blows away with a bang, and in walk some even stranger princes.

Damepri is a parody of otome dating sim tropes with female lead Ani being the straight man (or girl, depending on how you want to think about it) to the eccentric character types for four princes that she meets up with following a peace treaty signing between three kingdoms. The comedy is hit and miss, but is pretty entertaining and amusing to see unfold when the comedy connects as Ani is either oblivious to the obvious advances that the princes make on her or she finds herself amused or dumbfounded by the odd quirks each prince has that include Narek being a total narcissist, Vino being a playful tease with women, Ruze being totally pure and innocent, and Mare being a hikkikomori. The comedy being hit and miss isn't so much a weakness for Damepri, as its real big shortcoming is its rather underwhelming attempt at trying to have more serious plot development in its final three episodes that is not too convincing to see unfold, even if earlier episodes had foreshadowed this at points. Still if you are looking for something a bit comical and sticks out from your typical otome dating sim anime adaptations, Damepri may be worth a look.
