This second season of Little Busters! serves to continue and wrap up events with the titular group of friends as the truth surrounding their "adventures" is revealed, said truth perhaps being the most absurd of Key's fantasy-based gimmicks for all its superficial drama brought about for its title's characters when all is revealed. Typical of Key's titles, the drama is at melodramatic levels and doesn't come across naturally since the fantasy-based gimmick feels attached to this title just for the sake of cheap drama and Key thinking it needs to be there for whatever reason. The series attempts fleshing out the backstories of several more of the characters in the group, though this still largely comes off as window-dressing since the characters still largely have the same character type personalities they have had since the start of the series. If you want a more better-plotted (though still flawed) Key anime adaptation to check out, I'd check out Key's works done by KyoAni from the 2000s like Air TV and Kanon (2006).
