I don't get this Moguro guy. Is he trying to help the people whose wishes he grants, perhaps by teaching them a valuable lesson, or is he just a sadist of some sort? If the people were clearly evil, and clearly deserved punishment of a sort, this show would make more sense; but they don't. The salaryman in the first arc of the episode was dragged into the affair by a coworker; is it a sin to fall in love? And the woman in the second one was being harassed by coworkers, who seemed like the real villains to me. The two of them seemed like pretty average people. It's always possible for ordinary people to get better, but I didn't discern any benefit to either of them. Moguro just seems to seek out people with a problem, give them a fantastical crutch of sorts--then yank it out from under them. It makes their problems worse, if anything. So, the show has a vaguely nihilistic feel to me, and I don't see much of a reason to watch. Apparently this is a remake of an anime I had never heard of; I just hope the original one was better than this.
