I got the impression from the OP sequence that this would be a Boy's Love anime, and while that may tantalize female viewers, it doesn't excite me. And while I don't dislike (most of) the characters, they don't seem particularly interesting either. I can't care how Haru and Ren will come to feel about each other if I don't care about either of them, and so far they seem uninteresting. What's more, it wasn't particularly funny; several times, acts of violence are used as jokes--you get the feeling that if laugh tracks were employed in anime, you would be hearing piped-in laughter while people get punched or slapped or bitten. In short, there was nothing really unusual which attracted my interest. The story seems to be leaping and bounding forward in an unlikely and unconvincing manner (already Haru has saved Ren from being swept away by a rain-swollen river!). The suggestion that the story is about to move back to Japan made me a little curious, but I don't think I'll be missing much if I decline to watch Super Lovers.
