Wanpanman OVAs & Specials The OVA is a prequel in which the Saitama explains how he came to adopt the costume that he wears. For all intents and purposes, it is an additional episode of the TV series; the OP and ED sequences are identical, and it is likewise 23 minutes long. It could be inserted into the TV series at any point after we meet Genos and get to know him fairly well (because he appears briefly), inbetween any two arcs. It's basically about an early incident in Wanpanman's career as a Hero, back when he still had hair, which led to him adopting the costume he wears. Quality is identical to the rest of the series and no collection of the episodes of the Wanpanman TV show would be complete without this fun OVA. The Special(s) (I'm guessing there will be more) are shorter, perhaps half as long as an episode. In the first one (I think) Wanpanman gets the feeling that he is being stalked, and it's not just his imagination. The quality is on par with the TV series (though the plot goes off on a tangent), and anything of that sort is welcome to fans who regretted Wanpanman being only one season long.
