Junior High student Nao's brother complex is so strong, it's almost at the point of incest. She's determined to make her brother, High School student Shuusuke, see her as a woman. So determined, that she goes as far as going into his room to throw away all his non-incest related porn. But as she's looking for his porno stash, she finds a photo album... and she's not in any of his childhood pictures.

What a dirty little series! Not because of the content or any nudity or etc. Rather, the characters themselves in their unabashed behaviors... or mental states rather.

Art, Animation & Character Designs
Artwork can be explained as..... lanky. I say this because our character designs were a bit stretched out.... vertically. They had some exaggerated limbs with the extreme ends of the limbs a bit swollen compared to the joint areas..... elbows and knees. And then the ears.... giant, round discs. That sums up our character designs. As for the rest of the artwork, just average.

Music
The OP was a pop piece with female vocals. It was a lively, upbeat that really didn't do anything for me. Surprisingly the rest of the soundtrack had some acceptable pieces that were mostly trumpets, drums and other pieces one would find in an orchestra. This does liven up the scenes a bit. The ED was a cute piece with female vocals..... a silly pop piece.

Series and Episode Story
This series slightly grew on me..... but not by a whole lot either. But first, let me start off by saying that this series is full of cliche moments, story and characters... which throws out any possibility of the story being anything original. This series almost portrays the behavior of incest as something common and acceptable.... mainstream. I'm a pretty open person so it didn't effect me too bad but it most certainly will with many others.

This series is episodic. Meaning, there's no grand plot to speak of. It's simply silly stories per episode, and most not really that humorous. However, the series isn't a total loss. At some point, it started growing on me.... and I think it had a lot to do with our silly characters.... which does bring the series a bit of light.... if not a bit dim.

Overall, it's a series that might turn off many viewers..... even the die-hard of anime lovers. But if you can tough through it, it may end up growing on you as it did me.

Unevaluated Stretch [series:2416#628]
(One episode watched):

'Oh please', I said to myself early in Oniichan, 'don't let both siblings be perverted idiots who never change a lick or offer the slightest explanation for their behavior'. It doesn't seem that anybody was listening. Nao and Shuu practically boast of how messed-up they are. "Even I am disgusted that I pleasure myself by doing this" Nao jokes at one point. At the station break I felt that I had virtually nothing to show for troubling to watch this show--just pantsu and lame jokes. Then (I should have seen this coming a mile away), a convenient excuse for the sibling's behavior appears--they are not related by blood after all! Get it on, Nao and Shuu! Jeez, if a handy excuse was just around the corner, why wasn't Nao portrayed as feeling a hint of shame or reluctance? That would have made her semi-respectable. But instead she has nothing but lust and isn't interested in virtue or modesty. The ideal girlfriend for a shallow guy, I guess, since she would be just as horny as him. Oniichan kind of reminds me of B Gata H Kei, which was a condom-sponsored romantic comedy of a couple seasons ago. The amount of pantsu and cheap gags expended to get the basic premise across suggests a highly unbalanced ratio of ecchi quantity to everything else quality. It's frustrating, because with a little effort this might have been a clever and risque show. Aim for the lowest target, I guess, and you'll never shoot over anyone's head. I watched a little of episode two, but was quickly reminded of how mediocre this show is, and decided to drop it.
