Black Blood Brothers A decent vampire action title, Black Blood Brothers explores Jiro's dealings with the race of vampires known as the Kowloon Children as he tries settling into the vampire colony, the Special Zone, with his brother, Kotaro. The series introduces a colorful cast of characters, a good number of whom are connected to Jiro's past which the series does a good amount of fleshing out of, whom are entertaining to see in personality and/ or in action from the charismatic and somewhat wild Zelman Clock to Jiro's cunning old ally Cassandra Jill Warlock. The plot focused around the Kowloon Children provides for both the central conflict of this series and being a major element of Jiro's past, providing both an entertaining conflict for a vampire series and some great fleshing out of Jiro's character. The series does suffer from some unresolved plot developments (particularly the lack of a proper ending), subpar animation during action scenes with enough shortcuts apparent and hit-or-miss comedic delivery. Black Blood Brothers I can sum up this show in three words I Love It. The character design is wonderful and the guys are nice to look at. I love vampires have since I was a kid.
