If you liked the series, then you might enjoy this single OVA. However, the only thing here you'll get is some additional info on a few missing, yet unimportant bits that relate to a couple of episodes. Honestly it's only worth watching if you're dying to know why Lucy let Kurama live while she escaped from the facility. The other bit of unimportant info is between Bandou and Nana...... what led their plot to dissolve. These aren't exactly critical to the plot but worth watching if you really enjoyed the series. Released as an OAV after the TV series, this "missing episode" helps resolve some of the plot holes that were found in the series such as when Nana decided not to help Bandou in killing Lucy and what led Lucy not to kill Kurama after her capture to the institution. It still doesn't answer the question of what Kazukawa's dark plans are with the institution meaning viewers might have to find a way to get the Japanese manga to get all the details that the anime doesn't go in-depth on. The animation and music are of the same quality as they were from the TV series and you get some comedy and fan service revolving around Nana and Nyuu's interactions with each other. Otherwise, not much else to say. You might only wind up seeing this OAV once, like I have, just to see what you missed out on with Nyuu/ Lucy and Nana's characters. Drama : Med Comedy : Med Action : Low SciFi : High Ecchi : Med This is the missing 10.5 episode from EL, it was not included because it is a totally wrong pace for insertion at that point. (10-13 were dark this is light). So instead they release it as a DVD OVA just to make Japanese people pay $45 for a 2 episode disc. First half is funny, 2nd half is very dark and explains why Lucy did NOT kill Kurama at episode 1 and why she picked out the cute assistant to use her as a human meat shield.
