Rent | The police are powerless against "Demon Seed", a criminal gang which employs hi-tech armored battle suits. What's more, the collateral damage that results from the futile attempts to stop the bandits has made the police increasingly unpopular. Chief Hattori of the "Counter Demon Seed Special Agent Headquarters" comes up with a bizarre solution: hold special "Hero Auditions" in hope of finding someone who is both capable of stopping Demon Seed and popular enough that the public will forgive whatever damage occurs in the process! The adorably cute and incredibly strong Maron Namikaze seems to be just the girl Hattori has been looking for. "A super idol who can sing, dance, and fight crime will soon be born!" |

Kururu, Chiriri, Hororo, & Sarara are known as Bottle Fairies as each has a bottle representing their color (which the fairies also show in their eyes). Kururu is blue (image, top left), Chiriri is yellow (image, bottom right), Hororo is green (image, bottom left), and Sarara is red (image, top right). They live in a nice, western-styled cottage with a man they call Sensei-san. Next door lives Tama-chan, a young grade school girl. Black Lagoon Omake |
Rent |
A series of seven short fan-oriented OMAKE specials were released as a special bonus on the Black Lagoon DVD/BlueRay disks. Playing fast and loose with characters of the series, each three-to-five minute 'episode' takes everything to a comedic and bizarre extreme. But typical of many omake specials, the animation is minimal and quirky, but the silliness factor is pushed to the limit. |
