And then second giant alien robot appears to attack the first one. After a short battle, they both disappear, the city is not damaged and no one is injured. But everyone in town is treating this as common every day event? Unable to deny or disclaim the incident, the Japanese government has to admit that aliens do exist, and begins to talk about the need to defend the country against a possible invasion. |

A mysterious force of flying weapons, known as the Xi* is overrunning mainland Asia. Conventional jet fighters are virtually useless against them due to their ability to withstand fantastic G-forces and use some sort of psychological countermeasure against humans. Kei Narutani was fleeing to Japan when he saw a strange, red colored aircraft engage the Xi and, for once, defeat them. Once in Japan he finds himself recruited for an important post within the secret unit which the red plane came from, the 'Independent Composite Air Test Squadron' of the JASDF. |

When he was a child, Murakami was infatuated with a girl he called Kuroneko. She insisted on knowing about aliens and having met them, but no one believed her, even young Murakami was skeptical. One day, she decides to show him the aliens, but an accident occurs and Kuroneko dies while Murakami is left seriously wounded in the hospital. Years go by and Murakami obsesses on finding proof of the existence of aliens because of a promise he had made with Kuroneko. Then, one day, a new transfer student comes to his class, who not only looks a lot like Kuroneko, but is named Kurohaneko. And even though she insists on never having met Murakami before, the girl has superhuman strength and seems to even be able to predict the future. |
