This anime is great but only until episode 6. The other 6 episodes are totally screwed up. The characters are almost completely different. The most interesting character Agito becomes a totally good guy. I thought he was using both sides to his own ends, and it turns up he's a "good samaritan". Mizuki becomes "crying child" and at the end she's naked. What the hell? Are they trying to make this hentai? If so I'm not surprised they canceled the production of it. And what the hell that guy with a big gun is doing here? He's what? A zoalord? What a nonsense. My personal advice: if you want to see this, you should watch only until "Final Battle", you won't be dissapointed. This serie should end with episode 6. Episodes 7-12 are at some points just stupid. And the worst is the last scene in ep. 12. Gimme a break. Did that big guy wanted to kill Mizuki or undress her? What a pervert 8-). I give it a rent for all serie (buy fo first 6 episodes and Avoid for other 6).

Guyver is probably one of the most memorable animes I have ever watched. Period. It combines non-stop action with an intriguing plot that contains highly developed characters, comedy and drama. As for the artwork, I scored it 9/10 because the characters are completely original and I think that it was better than the high standards of its time (the late '80s / early '90s). The reason why the music score is quite low is because it only has about 2 or 3 different sound tracks that are played at dramatic points in the anime or during fight scenes. However, its really good music that gets into your head and pumps up the fun factor. I would recommend "Guyver" to all hardcore anime fans who love a great plot and outstanding action. In addition, this anime gives another alternative to how life, especially humans, were created and for what purpose.
Note: Productions of "Guyver" were cancelled after only 12 episodes due to financial problems. However, it is worth seeing in any case. Fo Shizzle!
