Saikyou no Oosama, Nidome no Jinsei wa Nani wo Suru?

The basic premise of this show reminded me of Mushoku Tensei, what with the protagonist reborn rather than somehow transferred to another world, and with his parents being a respected fighter and magician themselves. The main difference is that Arthur was once a King rather than a NEET. Of course Arthur finds that he has tremendous potential to employ magic--when does that not happen in Isekai anime? We get the basic rules of magic (which did not exist in Arthur's previous life), like how only around one in a hundred people possess the largely inherited ability to control mana (Arthur does) and there are basically two types of magic, that for augmenting and for conjuring. Before episode one is over Arthur amazes his parents with his latent magical abilities--largely trashing their house is a small price to pay to have a potential genius magician as their offspring. The ANN synopsis implied that Arthur might gradually discover why he was granted another life rather than it just being a done deal as is usually the case. Other than that, not much novel here, but I suppose I will keep watching for now.
