This second season of Quintessential Quintuplets continues its focus on the developing relationship between Fuutarou and the Nakano sisters in their continued tutoring sessions. Our main cast are shown to undergo varying degrees of development throughout this season with Futaro starting to care more for the sisters beyond viewing them just as students and most of the sisters undergoing their own gradual changes and starting to compete against one another for Futaro's affections. Essentially, it retains its first season's focus on giving those involved in the harem more depth than you'd find within many entries in the harem genre. The series still ends things inconclusively as there's still no reveal over whom among the quintuplets that Fuutato is teased to eventually marry. But with a later movie sequel serving to conclude the series, I suppose I'll be seeing it at some point to see how this series concludes.
