Kind of a shame that this is another OVA existing merely for promotional material of its then ongoing manga as the premise seems like it has its potential focused on a diver with mysterious powers over water and drops some hints over past connections that he may have with one of the island natives seemingly having similar powers. Unfortunately, 29 minutes isn't quite enough to flesh out the full story of this series and felt like it compiled key scenes of the manga to fit the OVA's run time. Considering the manga's obscurity, highly doubtful there could be some sort of modern adaptation of the series given the time it needs to tell its story.
