This prequel to EX-Driver has more of a buddy-cop feel with its focus on Nina and Rei dealing with a crazed stalker tailing Nina. The chemistry between the two girls has its moments of humor, but the case they tackle is pretty barebones and there isn't enough time to further flesh out the two beyond the length of this OVA. While still retaining the polished visuals of the Ex-Driver OVA series, there is a good amount of CG animation used throughout this short and it really sticks out like a sore thumb compared to the regular animation. This might be worth a treat if you're a fan of the Ex-Driver OVA series and movie. But if not, this short is otherwise skippable.
